How to choose animal anesthesia machine

<

How to choose an animal anesthesia machine, you need to consider the following questions:

1. What are the animal species and the weight of the experimental animals during the experiment?

What species are you working with and what is the weight range (very important) of each species?

If the experimental materials (animals) involved in the customer's experiment are more than 4.5kg. Rebreathing System is required. If 4.5kg, select non-rebreathing System

The so-called non-rebreathing system means that the system can directly deliver the exhaled gas to the purification system. This type of anesthesia machine can remove any remaining anesthetic gas, so it has little environmental pollution and the small animal has a small amount of breathing. Even a very small amount of anesthetic gas is superfluous.

For the rebreathing system, the exhaled gas can be circulated so that the customer can use a smaller amount of anesthetic gas.

2. How many animals do you need to anesthetize?

How many animals are you anesthetizing at once?

A general animal anesthesia machine vendor can provide a multi-channel anesthesia machine suitable for anesthetizing multiple animals (2, 4, 6), the Muti-station Research Anesthesia System. The others are single channel systems.

3. What equipment do you need to work with?

Do you have any existing equipment?

4. Do you need an animal ventilator (animal assisted breathing system)?

Are you ventilating?

5. The anesthetic gas used (eg isoflurane, halothane, etc.)

What anesthesia do you want to use - Isoflurane, Halothane ?

We know that different gases may be used in different laboratories. Many researchers in the United States use Isoflurane because this gas has fewer side effects on experimental animals and is easier to wake up after anesthesia. In Europe, some experimenters prefer Halothane. Therefore, the choice of anesthetic gas may be more important depending on the customer's preference, of course, we can also recommend the above two. A variety of anesthetic gases are available: Isoflurane (isoflurane), Halothane (halothane) and Sevoflurane (sevoflurane), of which Isoflurane (isoflurane) and Halothane (halothane). We offer three types of anesthesia tanks Tech 3, Tech 4 and Ohio. It can be used in all three types of anesthesia tanks, while Sevoflurane (sevoflurane) can only be used in Tech 3 and Tech 4.

Note: The Tech 4 model anesthesia canister is a refurbished vaporizers with a one-year warranty and the anesthesia canister is specific. Isoflurane can only be used in the Isoflurane anesthesia canister. Halothane can only be used in the Halothane anesthesia canister.

Customers also need to choose between Funnel Fill and Key Fill. If customers want to experiment with both gases in the lab, you can recommend Key Fill version (this also requires the appropriate key fill adapter for the agent bottle - must be Exactly separately), if the customer only needs an anesthetic gas, you can recommend Funnel Fill to reduce cross-contamination.

If you are not sure how to choose, please contact Yuyan Instruments and we will recommend a more suitable model and configuration.

Flood Pump

The drainage pump is often used for urban waterlogging, rural and forest fires to prevent and deal with emergencies. It supplies water to the fire site through pressure pipelines or fire monitors, and can also be used for drainage when large-scale flooding occurs.

When there is a considerable distance between the ponding point and the drainage site, the supplementary pipe can be used to extend to 1000m to realize long-distance drainage. When there is water, it can replace the fire truck and be used as the pump station. Equipped with hydraulic bit, it can extinguish peat fire and also can use fire monitor.
